Election Resolution Notice

A poll-site election for a board seat on the Adams Conservation District will be held on January 21, 2020 at the Adams Conservation District Office located at 118 E Main Avenue, Ritzville, WA 99169. Polls will be open at 10am and close at 2pm. Registered voters who reside within the Adams Conservation District boundaries are eligible to vote. Absentee ballots are available upon request for eligible voters; ballots must be requested from the District by January 2, 2020 at 5pm. Please contact the District office at 509-659-1553 or come by the office at 118 E Main Avenue in Ritzville for absentee ballots or if you have any questions.

Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district and may be required to own land or operate a farm. The candidate filing deadline is December 31, 2019 at 5pm. Application forms and election procedures are available at the conservation district office or can be obtained from the Washington State Conservation Commission website at http://www.scc.wa.gov/elections.

 

Elected Position Announcement

The Adams Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are public officials who direct the activities of the conservation district. Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district and may be required to own land or operate a farm. Appointment Announcement 

A board seat on the Adams Conservation District is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district. An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State and may be required to own land or operate a farm. Applicants for appointed positions do not have to live within the district to apply. Applications and supporting materials must be received by the Conservation Commission no later than March 31, 2020.
